When the Book of Mormon came forth, the Lord saw fit to provide many witnesses regarding its veracity. This is in accordance with the divine law of witnesses. In the opening pages of The Book of Mormon, two statements are printed, each signed by a set of witnesses; 11 in all. The following commentary is regarding these testimonies.
